I wanted to begin to learn more storyboarding/animation software which could help me develop my own cartoons or story ideas. I was able to download Clip Studio with includes a Paint and Animate program and 3D sculpt program.
I watched a few short tutorials on the Clip Studio Paint workspace before beginning my practice project, taking note of different hotkey setups and useful buttons like the Onion Skin and layer types.

I linked up my graphics tablet to test how easy drawing would be, thankfully it was much more responsive than my previous attempts on Toon Boom (which I will have to go back to). I was able to sketch out a very basic animation, I added a timeline to the workspace through the settings to time my frames. This would help me to understand the process in this particular software so I could move on to experiment with different timings, colours and shading.
