For the Infographic project, I used After Effects to compose my 3D model PNG sequences, animated text and various hand drawn elements.
I was able to import files easily into After Effects and arrange them in the timeline depending on their visibility on screen. I imported my series of digitally hand drawn frames from Flipaclip (iPad application for flip book style animation) as an MP4 file but if changes were needed to the length of frames I would have to go back into the iPad app and add more manually (frame duplication) before exporting again as an mp4. It was a lot easier to add animated text in AE over the top of the mp4 layer, this gave me much more control over shape/scaling, font style and animation and took a lot less time to add in than the hand drawn Disney style title text (In retrospect I could have also done this digitally for a cleaner result).
I was able to add in an end screen with animated text which mimicked painted/handwriting to fit with the theme of hand drawn art but still looking polished. In future I would like to add in more AE effects to enhance my drawn designs-to do this I'd have to draw every elements on separate layers and export them to be tweaked in After Effects/Illustrator.
